I do a lot of audio books when I walk/run, and drive to work. I teach school so it's easy to get some time in before the kids come and while grading papers on my plan period.
1. Keeping Mum by Alyse Carlson
Liked the first two books better than this one. Took a long time for the plot to develop I thought.

I did the all the Royal spyness and loved them can't wait for a new one. Read the first Molly book awhile ago so starting the second on audio and going to try that series out for awhile.
The Christmas one was my favorite of the Royal spyness series.
3. Death of Riley by Rhys Bowen
Really enjoyed this one. Kept me guessing for quite awhile as who did it. lol

I started For the Love of Mike immediately after. Looks like I'll be reading this series straight through like I did the Royal spyness series
I love Rhys Bowen's books as well. In fact, if you haven't read her Constable Evan Evans series, I highly recommend them as well. They are out of print, but well worth track down. It was her first mystery series and they are set in a small Welsh village in modern times.

"Another good one!"
I'm trying to read them in order have the next 3 ready to go. Loving the messes she gets herself into.
I have yet to read anything by Rhys Bowen. After reading everyones comments I am going to give her a try.
Britney wrote: "I have yet to read anything by Rhys Bowen. I also like British history and love Downtown Abbey so that maybe why i like the the best even though I love anything history related. The Molly mysteries keep you guessing and have a lot of American history in them. Haven't started the other series yet but have the first book.
8. Oh, Danny Boy by Rhys Bowen
I did not figure this one out. I was totally shocked when it came out who the killer was.

No, it's the one where Capt. Sulks in was in jail. But, good to know that I have another surprise coming.

It kept me jumping. I had started the series awhile ago and got away from it but it was picked as a series read for me in another group and I've enjoyed getting back in touch with the characters. The author just recently finished the series so I don't want to go so fast I finish them all right away. Will miss Ms Ollie.
Sorry haven't updated in awhile so this will be a long post11. Brownies and Broomsticks by
Bailey Cates12. Mistletoe and Murder by Carola Dunn
13. Fonduing Fathers by Julie Hyzy
14. All Dressed Up and No Place to Haunt by Rose Pressey

Dagny wrote: "Not bad for a month's reading, Lori!"It helps when, 1 you join a bingo cozy group and get a topic each week to read, 2. you fall and break your toe, sprain your knee and break a bone in your shoulder so you are off work for a week and can't really move around so you get to sit and read. 3. you join a serial reading challenge and have someone else pick a series for you to read in a month. 4. This week is Read Across America so I have 30 minutes everyday I get to read at work with my students. It's been my favorite part of the week. I also read The Lorax to my students but didn't count that as it's not a cozy mystery.
FYI: I teach reading to 4th graders.

My college professor said the same thing about getting out of work. My knee and toe are much better thank goodness. Now, just need to wait 4 more weeks on the shoulder.
Three more to add to my list16. Dressed to Kill by Lynn Cahoon
17. Fudge Cupcake Murder by Joanne Fluke
18. Carrot Cake Murder by Joanne Fluke
Dagny wrote: "Lori wrote: "Three more to add to my list"I recently started reading the Hannah Swenson series. I saw a couple of the movies with Alison Sweeney and that's more or less what got me started."
I haven't seen any of the movies but have read most of the series. There are about 5 I haven't read. I've done some out of order so it's been nice to go back and get things straight in my mind. The only thing I'm not happy about is the love triangle. It has gotten old. I hope it gets resolved in the latest book. It sounds like it from the back but you never know.
Here goes another update. I need to get better at this.19. Spinning in her Grave by Molly MacRae
20. Town in a Strawberry Swirl by B.B. Haywood
21. The Chocolate Frog Frame-Up by JoAnna Carl

26. French Pressed by Cleo Coyle
27. Mum's the World by Kate Collins

I'm loving the Molly Murphy books. I agree the Dublin one was a little weird it just worked out I could use it for another challenge. I also do them on audio books and I think that helps a bit.
Britney wrote: "How was Mum's the Word?"At the beginning I wasn't sure but ended up liking it. I have been doing a cozy bingo and it's opening me up to some new books I've had in my TBR list for years. I would recommend it, I will be reading more in the series when I get a chance.

Yesterday was the last day with students and I have a work day today then I'm done. I will miss my students this year. i had some really sweet girls and we were all crying yesterday when they left.
I have one summer graduate school class that ends in June so still have work to do for that one but am planning on enjoying the summer. We are bringing our nephew up to visit for a couple weeks this summer so that will keep me busy too.
It is. They made my day everyday. When I fell and broke my shoulder they were so helpful and were the mommies in my room. I know they will come back and see me next year!!
