They stood just inside the forest across from the tower, hidden from sight against any unwanted eye. "I don't want to get to close in case she's home." She said studying the place. All those unwanted memories were flooding back. The isolation. The filthiness. She had no choice but to re-experience it though.

"Who's at home that you don't want to see?" Asked Leora studying the tall isolated like tower, towering above the green lawn, somewhat sitting snugly by the trees. To ever be trapped up there, with only one window...yuck.

"The witch." Havana said simply. Encountering the witch was the last thing on her mind. She only just narrowly escaped her last time. Havana turned towards Leora. "What do we do now? Do we just go in and try and have me remember." Havana laughed. "We are Angels aren't we? Why don't we just smite this bitch?"

((Uh can't remember if I read it in the info parts or not, but do the angels have their powers even after tehy've fallen?))

"The witch? There's a witch?" Leora blinked, okay, so she was having a short term memory loss phase, because she was still getting into the stride that her own worries were just her own worries and that she was supposed to help Havana. "You might have to tell me your story again, from the beginning."

(( Yes they do. Sorry I didn't put it in. lol, more things to add. Wonderful. ;) ))

Havana smirked. "Yes there is a witch. A really ugly disgusting one." She leaned against a tree. "When I apparently fell, she took me as a prize of the sought and kept me in the tower for many years. I presume it may have been for a bargaining chip but I don't know. The of course Ash found be and broke me out." She looked up at the tower and looked away in fear. "Are you sure this will help with my memories?"

"Nope," said Leora bluntly. There was no way she was sure, considering she was an Angel of Darkness and not Memory. But it was psychology, retracing steps helped reboot that old grey mass up there. She stretched, checked the blades strapped to her legs and waist. "But, hey, you don't know until you try. In fact, it's probably our best try right now."

"Well then," Havana said trying to gain her courage, "Lets do this." SH stepped forward out in the open and paused. Nothing happened. That must've meant the witch wasn't around. Not for long though. "I think it's clear." She said and started to walk in the direction of behind the tower where she new a wooden door was hidden behind shrubs and vines.

Leora followed drawing out one of her average sized blades and held it resting against her forearm, handle in her hand. Her eyes darted around them as she kept watched. Training with her brother had taught her to be cautious. And she couldn't help but feel like they were being watched. "You don't need a key right?"

"I don't think so, but I suppose since her last break in, she might be a bit more cautious now." She walked up to the vines covering the door and pulled at them. They didn't give. She pulled a smile blade from her hip and tried to cut at it. Again, it didn't give. "It looks like she's put a spell on it. Talk about being cautious." She looked at Leora studying the vines next to her. "Do you know any despells?"

"Don't know if I can dispell this, depends if it's within my magical jurisdiction," said Leora pressing her hand flat over the lock. She fel the swirl of magic rise inside her. She felt it rise and she formed the runes of dispelling along her arms. They crawled over her hand and fingers and wove under, plastering themselves over the lock. There was a mini explosive-like poof, and then a small click. "Turns out...I can."

Havana let put a sigh of relied and shoved the door open with a creak. Leading upward into darkness was a long spiral staircase she remembered running down in panic once upon a time. Havana made her way up the stares, treading quietly just in case she was wrong about the witch being out. "Come on." Havana motioned to Leora.

Leora nodded and followed, leaving the safety of the doorway. As she ascended upwards she heard the door shut behind them, and she flinched. "I think we need light," she said.

Havana thought about it a moment and lifted her hand to study it. She summoned up the feeling that can only be called magic and saw her hand brighten to a glow from inside out lighting up the staircase. "Holy Cow." Havana said amazed, turning her hand back and forth and looking at it in wonder. She gave Leora a smile and ventured forward. "I've really got to find out what else I can do."

Leora smiled, "Oh, you can do a whole lot more." A whole freaking lot more, she thought. If Leora hadn't been the Angel of Darkness, then she would have been able to create light. That was her only downfall. And yet, Leora would never trade her specialisation for any other. "So, do you remember anything?"

Havana smiled inwardly, glowing inside, physically and emotionally. Being a angel wouldn't be that bad she supposed. There were certainly perks and negatives, she thought, thinking of Lucifer. At the end of the stair well they came to a wall. Havana new it was fake, just an illusion. All she had to do was peel back the layers in her brain to reveal the creepy old door. "It's an illusion." She said, repeating her thought.

Leora nodded her head and blinked. She saw through most illusions naturally since darknesss came with denial of what one saw and didn't see. Leaning forward she examined the door, "Is that a lock I see?"

"I guess it is." Havana said, amused. "Would you like to do the honors?" She stepped aside and to let Leora step forward. Her heart was running over time at the thought of stepping through the door. The last thing she wanted was the sight of that dirty cell.

Leora sighed and called up the dispelling runes again. Once again they crawled her arm as she pressed her palm to the dusty, rusty lock. Once again there was a mini implosion and the lock clicked opened. Slowly, Leora eased the door open. "I hope this works," she said, hoping that some of Havana's memories would come back, and hopefully the most important one didn't. The one that connected her to Lucifer.

Havana pushed the door open softly and stepped inside, being as quiet as she could. The small grey brick room was what they encountered. It looked exactly as she remembered. The mouldy walls, small tiny window, the straw on the floor. She looked at the straw a moment sure she saw movement and dismissed it. Probably a rat, she thought. She walked around the room trying to get a feel of it. She heard a moan coming from the straw and turned around. Laying on the straw was a tiny skinny child around 8. "What the..." She said in shock and rushed over to the child.

Leroa blinked, what was a child doing here...amongst the dusty atmosphere and straw covered floor? She stared for a bit as Havana looked the child over, she wasn't sure what she should do, children weren't normally her forte, much less skinny, underfed children who seem to be the new captive of the tower. She leaned out the tower window, and frowned, "Oh dear...I think we might have company."

Havana looked over at Leora. "What do you mean company?" She panicked and lifted the child up into her arms with an ease that surprised her. "We have to get him out of here." She said and raced for the door. She paused when she heard the door at the end of the stairs slam shut.
"Is that the mean lady again?" The boy in her arms spoke weakly.

Leora stared at the woman with the fierce expression following behind her rough looking men. The men were already opening the bottom door. "Damn, should have locked it again," she muttered to herself. Then looked at Havana and the boy. And looked around only to find that the only thing significantly abundant, was the straw. She sighed, "it'll have to do. Hold onto the kid Havana, I'm gonna make us a rope." She focussed on the well of magic in her, and felt it start churning, rising, and forming runes down her arms. Her eyes turned as black as the inky tattoos on her arms. Rune by rune, they slipped of her arms and hands consuming straw, twisting and changing it, eating at the shadows, until - after the sound of footsteps on the stairs became prominent - a shadow rope formed.

"Wow..." The child said, staring at the rope in wonder. Havana smiled and helped Leora throw the rope over the window. "why is it that every time I leave this place, it's always in a hurry." She said jokingly to ease the tension. Just as the door to the room was about to open. Havana started climbing down the rope, the child hands around her neck from behind.

Leora spun around to face the intruders, storming angry men entering the room. One eye was on Havana as she descended quickly. When Havana reached the bottom with the kid, Leora smirked at the men, fisted the rope in one hand and jumped out the window, she could feel the rope in her hand, soft as silk as it slid through her hand. If it had been anyone else, they would have gotten rope burn.

Havana waited for Leora to reach the ground and started running towards the forest at an extreme speed, Leora running next to her. Havana looked behind her to see one of the men coming after them. Havana looked towards Leora in panic, wondering where to go or what to do. A thought came to her. She made sure Alex was secured in her arms before she concentrated on the tingling in her upper shoulders and released the wings she never realized she had up until then. She flew up into the air at full speed, feeling an exhilaration that made her laugh in joy.

Leora blinked as Havana shot up. She chuckled, well looks like the little one is figuring out her abilities, one flap at a time...so to speak. Turning Leora summoned darkness runes and put her hands to the ground, the runes crawled off and circled the men. When they connected on the other side, they were trapped in a wall of darkness. Then like Leora, she took off into the sky at lightning speed.

As soon as Havana saw the tower come into her line of sight. She knew they were getting close. "So whats the plan?" She asked Leora, feeling a little nervous. She knew it wasn't a good idea to just barge in there. If they did, they would lose the element of surprise. "Come to think of it. She may not even be home. She may have even kidnapped some other poor sap." All these ideas running through her mind weren't doing anything for her nerves.

He had to keep telling himself not to look down. He continued climbing watching his steps carefully without thinking about falling. He reached a window that appeared locked. "What do we do Leora? She might have a locking spell on it." He thought about what he could do and came up with an idea. He smirked down at her and let his hands heat up to high temperatures. He laid his hands on the window and watched the glass melt between his figures until there was a huge gaping hole for one person to squeeze through at a time.
