Can 1,500,000 Pages Be Read In 2016?

Nice way to up the ante for the new year... I am personally hoping to read 52 books and hit 25000 pages this year. This oughta be fun...
When you think of the amount of members that added their totals on their own and the group one we could reach it easily.
Only 10% to 15% of members took part !

Just read353 pages Mercury's War
384 pages Stygian's Honor
249 pages The Wrong Girl
201 pages Playing With Fire
204 pages Heart Burn
1,391 pages
1,947 + 1,391 = 3,338 pages

Are we supposed to be adding only our own pages read or are we supposed to add to the post before ours.
Marla wrote: "Are we supposed to be adding only our own pages read or are we supposed to add to the post before ours."Hi Marla -
Please add your total to the post before yours. We do have folks (including me) who do check totals, so usually we can catch those.
Please make sure you are on the last page before posting - sometimes if you click on a post, it is not the last one, and then you are adding to the wrong total. Like I said, we have a few people checking math.
Also, if possible, please put the overall group total in bold when posting - use the following html (in quotes) to make it bold (without the extra spaces or quotes) " < b >" TOTAL "< / b >"
Thanks! Good luck group!
For a goal of 1,500,000 pages, we need to average about 4,110 pages per day. So at the end of today, we should be at 16,440. I have faith in you all!!
I will add my pages later. I want to finish the book I am working on first.

Correction adding pages from post #22 to the total224 pages + 309 pages = 533 pages
533 + 5,805 = 6,338
Hi all! Just joined... What a great idea! How does the counting of pages work? Do I add onto the last post's total?
Jamie wrote: "Hi all! Just joined... What a great idea! How does the counting of pages work? Do I add onto the last post's total?"Jamie, yes, we're keeping a running total. There's a good explanation in Message 24 above.

Thank you!
Change - 246 pagesStrawberry Shortcake Murder - 320 pages
Bite Thy Neighbor, Izzy Szyn - 121 pages
Shifter in Training, C.C. Tibbets - 127 pages
The last two were from an anthology, but not listed separately on GR.
814 pages total.
There was a math error earlier, so the new totals:
10,163 + 814 = 10,977

It would be great if you can add each book read as you go along and having some librarians in our midst means numbers can be kept an eye on too. But whatever works for you is fine. Thank you volunteers!
Good luck everyone and happy reading!
