A Good Thriller discussion

After the success of achieving the initial goal as set by Autumn of 1,000,000 pages read last year, and smashed by our members, it's been decided to increase the total to 1,500,000 - and it can be done!!

It would be great if you can add each book read as you go along and having some librarians in our midst means numbers can be kept an eye on too. But whatever works for you is fine. Thank you volunteers!

Who hoo!!! Nice way to up the ante for the new year... I am personally hoping to read 52 books and hit 25000 pages this year. This oughta be fun...

When you think of the amount of members that added their totals on their own and the group one we could reach it easily.

Only 10% to 15% of members took part !

I'm convinced we can manage to reach the goal and hope I'm not that wrong :-)

Hi Marla -

Please add your total to the post before yours. We do have folks (including me) who do check totals, so usually we can catch those.

Please make sure you are on the last page before posting - sometimes if you click on a post, it is not the last one, and then you are adding to the wrong total. Like I said, we have a few people checking math.

Also, if possible, please put the overall group total in bold when posting - use the following html (in quotes) to make it bold (without the extra spaces or quotes) " < b >" TOTAL "< / b >"

For a goal of 1,500,000 pages, we need to average about 4,110 pages per day. So at the end of today, we should be at 16,440. I have faith in you all!!

I will add my pages later. I want to finish the book I am working on first.
