O5: Prize-Winning Female Author - The House on Mango StreetBy Sandra Cisneros, won Americam Book Award from Before Columus Foundation in 1985 Read 01/02- 01/03 2016.
Welcome to the challenge Dave -- I do hope you have fun with it and congrats on getting a book read too.
Thanks Kathy, this game is going to pair nicely with my 2016 Women Writers Challenge and my personal 2016-2020 Sea to Shining Sea Challenge.
Susie, you need to check it out on the Goodread's website, not the App. At least on my iPad App the alignment is all messed up and I can't edit it. But it is fine on the website.
Finished The Book of Matt: Hidden Truths About the Murder of Matthew Shepard. Stephen Jimenez for slot G3. Lengthy review posted to Goodreads and Amazon. This also fills Wyoming slot on my Sea to Shing Sea Personal Challenge.
I also finished The Stranger today. I haven't decided where to place it on my bingo board. Either Classic of Africa, the Le Monde’s 100, or Classic from School. By the way I enjoyed The Stranger, but I don't really know why, intriguing character, good writing?
Finished The Tower Treasure (B4) The first Hardy Boys Book. This series was the first books I checked of the Public Library 57 years ago. I read this for nostalgia but I was suprised to find how entertained I was.

Fun -- haven't thought about those for years. So nice to know that they have staying power.

I started Angle of Repose for O1 today. This was going to be my Idaho book for C2C but I decided its retrospection and multiple locale was not a good fit for my C2C criteria.

I found this book last year while researching books for a challenge. I thought it sounded interesting, I will be interested in hearing what you think.

My F2F group is starting Housekeeping by Marilynne Robinson for our "Idaho" book this year. (We live in Idaho). Just in case you want a different suggestion Dave.
Kathy, on review of Housekeeping it was first published in 1981 (a decade I already finished in Women Writer Challenge). Thanks for the invite and keep me in mind for future reads.
Read The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Samuel Taylor Coleridge for N4 Not a poetry collection, but I have never read poetry collections, I keep a book of poems by my chair and read individual poems when the mood is right. If this does not fill the spirit of the requirement let me know and I'll take it off. I read the free Kindle version and listened to a great Audible narration by Richard Burton, Ralph Richardson, and John Neville. It also had an interesting music soundtrack. First audiobook I remember with a soundtrack. I rate it 5 stars.
Finished At the Earth's Core for B2 ((Sci Fi/Fantasy. Another book from my childhood. Amazing I can remember so much of the story 55 years later.I've set my eye next on Dante's Divine Comedy for N1 (before 1600) specifically for bingo. That will take awhile. I will probably get some incidental bingo boxes as I work on other challenges.

About a year ago I read A Princess of Mars, it was my first book by Edgar Rice Burroughs. It was a ton of fun to read. I plan of reading Tarzan of the Apes some day.

Yes, I bet I would also enjoy Burrough's Mars series Bob. I got a kick out of the recent John Carter of Mars movie.
Finished Kings In Grass Castles, put it on O3, book of Asia or Oceana. The eleventh book in my bingo. I'd be doing a lot better if this was classic twister. Eleven books and no bingo, :-(
