Where She Went by Gale FormanThis was lame, but I read the first one so I thought I'd give it a try.
"The Tourists" by Jeff Hobbs. It was okay, but I probably wouldn't recommend it. His nonfiction book "The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace" is amazing though.
I read The Color of Water in July by Nora Carroll. It is a great summer read! Perfect to pack for a plane ride or a trip to the beach.
It takes place in July in a summer community on a lake in Michigan. Jess hasn't been there since she was a teenager. But when she inherits her grandmother's summer cottage, she has to go back to sell the house. Along the way she stumbles across some family secrets. It's a really good summer book.
The Summer GirlsI saw the recommendation above by our other Tammy earlier in the year and started with Summer Girls. I ended up reading the whole series and really enjoyed the characters and the feel of the Carolina coast. I want to visit there now. #5 in the series (A Lowcountry Christmas) is coming out soon and I already have it on hold at my library when it does. Thank you for rec!
Heartstone, by CJ Sansom. Set in the summer of 1545. And that's it for me...I've successfully completed this year's reading challenge. :-)
