Prince Philip's Room

Rania knocked on the door of her eldest son's room. She thought there wS a few things she ought to talk to him about before the wedding, and really, she just wanted to see him.
Louise went tapping on her Mother's door and got no reply. When she barged in a maid informed her that the Queen was at her brother's room. It was the day after she arrived back from Italy. A bright feeling filled her with joy. Many days ago she fell in love with a prince. They'd probably get married one day, and she'd no longer be a Princess of Illea, but a Princess of Italy. First thing was first, to tell her mother.
When Louise got no answer she barged right in to find her mother and Philip, just like she expected. No one saw her arrive the night before and she stayed in her bed the entire day. She also unpacked and took a long shower. It was the first time in about a two years she saw her family. With a smile she stood in the doorway, waiting for hugs from her mother, but not expecting anything from her sleepy brother.
((ignore me, I'm just stalking quitely here))
Not expecting the kind gesture by her brother, Louise was slightly startled. She hugged him back and smiled as she did.
"Sorry, if I'm interrupting, but I have something to tell you all. Peter will be informed later, not like he'd really care anyway." She said as she let go of her brother. "Italy was so great, Mother, I'm glad you let me go. But, something made it amazing."
((Louise and Peter seriously need to get things straight between them. :P))
((Yes...))
"Oh, my, I have so much to tell you. Let us all sit down and I can get to what that something is." Louise said, acting unusually, well, happy and normal. "No, no, first of all, how has the palace been? How've you been?"
She sat down in a comfortable chair near her brother.
"How was the Selection?" She continued.
Louise lit up when she began.
"Well, when I arrived at the palace in Italy, it was so different. People were smashing plates and carelessly drinking wine. No dinner was served but you ate at your leisure. I didn't know what to do so I sat at a table and then someone sat next to me. His name is Daunt, or Daunte." She started, when she finished the story she finally got to the point. "Well, I guess I'm just in love. I think we'll get married, and have a family one day. But he is so nice, you must meet him. Maybe he'll come to the wedding even. No matter what he must meet you soon."
(( Wait, if the Selection was over two years ago, doesn't this mean Louise has also been gone for two years? She left shortly after the Selection ended... I think. ))
"Yes," Louise exclaimed. "I mean, we wouldn't get married for a few years, but I think he'll ask me to marry him very soon. But he can't do it over a letter, he must come here to see me again. Maybe then he'll ask, at least I hope. Whenever he does I'll say yes, if that is okay with all of you?"
Even if they didn't approve, she was in love, and at least she knew one person would understand: William.
((what is he is actually William's counterpart from another timeline?))
"He's not, by gosh Philip. We aren't getting married until I'm at least 22. If you haven't remembered I'm not 17 anymore, time passes, I'm eighteen, going onto nineteen. I'm older now and in about four years I'll probably get married. If he were a serial killer, he wouldn't be so respected. You see he is the Prince of Italy." Louise exclaimed, slightly annoyed.
"Yeah, he is a Prince of Italy. You'll get to know 'this guy.' But he has a name, I call him Daunt, but you call him Daunte, because thats my thing." Louise stated. "Have you ever tasted wine? Gosh, it is so good. When you visit Daunt and I in Italy we can go on the beautiful trails in the woods and drink refined wine and smash plates. They have great food. Have you ever had manicotti? If you haven't, then you haven't lived."
Louise raised her eye brow.
"Ask me anything, Philip." She stated. "Well, get on with it, what do you ask of me? Don't ask to much of me, I just got back, but whatever it is, just ask."
"Get on with it. Philip, a fatal flaw of yours is not staying on topic. Lets try not to do that, okay?" Louise asked. "Anyway, you mean Riley, that selected girl? The five, the decent one? Yeah, she's nice. I never got to actually meet her much. I mean, you know, I was kind of, er, upset after everything."
"Gosh, engaged!" Louise exclaimed. "But I barely even know her! What about Emery? She was okay, I mean I knew her, kind of. You know what, it doesn't matter. Sure, I'll be your bridesmaid. I don't really care."
Truthfully she was upset that she wasn't Maid of Honor, and Philip could probably tell. She glanced out the window as she spoke
"Who is, um, Maid of Honor?" She asked.
"Louise, your being surprised about your brother's engagement is surprising. He is older than you, and when you left he was having a competition to see whom his bride would be. And yet you seem to think we shouldn't be surprised that you yourself are near to engagement with a man we have never met."
"Where is Emery? I mean, we could talk about prisons, I mean positions, no planning actually." Louise stated. "Well, Mother, age barely means anything to me. You can be 100 years old and be as wise as a 2 year old. Anyway, Philip, when is the wedding? I need to contact Daunt and make sure he can come."
((*Emery creepin outta nowhere* "Somebody summoned meh?"))
"Gosh, I must contact him right now. Fetch me some paper and a writing utensil, someone," Louise called out, and a maid scurried out to grab them. "What dress am I to wear? I mean it needs to be fitted and made as soon as possible! By gosh, I need to get new makeup and perfume. I must help plan. Philip, you should've told me and I would've came back weeks ago. I feel so, left out. But that doesn't matter, I need my maids to my room right now for fittings!"

[Personality] Flighty, passionate and rebellious, Philip does not seem like a prince at all. He is irresponsible, lazy and unbelievably idealistic about the world. As he has always lived a sheltered life, Philip doesn't really understand the outside world, and knows little about the goings-on outside the palace (what he does know is snippets from conversations overheard, spoken by maids and guards). Philip is somewhat rude and condescending: he hates the idea of marrying someone from the lower castes, and really hates the idea of marrying anyone. Philip thinks a lot of himself: when he's king, apparently, he'll wipe out the rebels, and make Illea peaceful.
But when you get to know him, Philip changes. He's really a very good-natured person if you can hold his interest long enough for him to talk to you. Where he seems stubborn and rude before is just his laid-back personality. He has a great sense of humour and, though not exactly the easiest person to get along with, he's a good ally to have. He is bright and witty, with a dose of sarcasm, although he pays little attention to his tutors.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
