Men We Reaped: A Memoir, by Jesmyn Ward was about how in 5 years Jesmyn ward lost 5 men in her life, (her brother and friends) due to where the came from and who they were, they lost their lives to drugs, accidents, suicide, and well just the bad luck of being black and coming from poverty. Ward grew up in the small town of DeLisle, Mississippi, and being black in Mississippi is already bad enough, she experiences heart crushing deaths that make this book an amazing story of her life and i absolutely recommend this book and i give this book 5 stars.
