'One second he was standing in the middle of a dark field, the next he was stood in the middle of a dark field, only a change in direction of the wind to confirm his change of location'. This sentence is from page 99,on the kindle book, Amazon updated my kindle and in the process they lost my copy so they gave me credit to purchase one. Just thought you would like to know the sentence would sound better I think if it was ', the next he was still standing in the ..., thanks Ayla.
