I don't mind being captain. I can probably roll midnights on Sundays, but I wouldn't be able to roll until around 7am on Thursday mornings. I just can't stay up that late and get to work the next day!
Thanks Theo for 'captaining' our ship.If I'm up before you on Thursday - I can roll and post our spot. I get up early for work as well - usually between 5:30-6am CST
Hi, team!! Just checking in :) I'm new to this challenge but not to challenges in general so I should have no problem catching on. Doesn't seem to complicated.
Sounds good Melissa! Now we just need to come up with a team name. Are there any other suggestions?
Here's a short list of the two from my suggestions that were mentioned and then one from each of Melissa's and Kme_17's lists that I liked:
Happy Bookers
A Novel Idea
Hooked on Books
Bookends
What's your favorite?
I hope everyone is ready to begin! Tomorrow morning either Melissa or I will post the first roll. Ideally, our reviews should be posted Saturday, so that we can roll right at midnight on Sunday.Happy Reading!

Final Thoughts:
I absolutely love this series. Nobody finds Myron as funny as Myron himself. I love his sarcastic, dry wit. And then there's Win. I want to have his babies. I love me some Win! Each book in this series is just so entertaining they are just hard to resist. The series isn't an over-the-top funny like the Stephanie Plum series (which I also love). The humor in these books is more subtle. The mystery aspect is never 100% predictable which I like. Sometimes I can guess the whodunnit but not the exact reasons why or all the facts. And sometimes I can guess the what was done and why but can't pin point the who. Great series for anybody looking for crime novels with a hint of humor.
Nice job Krissy and that sounds like a great series. I love Stephanie Plum series. I'll have to check out Myron's series.
Week 1 Thursday roll - Space 5
Zane's Redemption
#5 Scanguards series
Finished 1/15/15
Rating 4 stars
Review: this was a re- read for me. When I originally read this book I had only read book #1 prior so I really didn't understand how all the characters fit and their history together. This time around went so much better and I enjoyed Zane's story just as much the second time around as I did the first time. Zane has been living in the past refusing to care about anyone but getting revenge on those that created him. Until he lands in a 'babysitting' gig of a female hydrid vampire, Portia. Sparks fly from the moment they meet. Add in Zane's given a puppy to care for from one of his teammates and this was another fine addition to the series. Looking forward to Quinn's book next. This is definitely a fun fluff type of vampire series - easy to read and enjoy.

review: This was an unique one. This plot is maybe every book lovers dream the power to bring their favorite characters to life. I enjoy this one very much. It is a fun read. I haven't watched the movie but now I am looking forward to watching it.
Great job everyone! I was traveling yesterday, so I'll get my book finished and posted by this evening.

Review: The mysterious presence that has been haunting Aeron, the keeper of Wrath, and scaring away his companion, the demon Legion, finally introduces herself. Olivia, a warrior angel tasked with Aeron’s murder, has chosen to abandon immortality instead of carrying out her duty. She has become a bit obsessed with the Lord and would rather sleep with him than kill him. This doesn’t fly well with Legion, and a bizarre love triangle leads to some humor and poor choices. In addition to the main romance, there is also continued plot development in the search for the remaining artifacts and new god-like bad guys are introduced who seem to be out for Cronus. I only seem to read this series when I’m doing this challenge, but they’re quick, fairly enjoyable reads. Nothing groundbreaking, just some mindless fun!

Review: Quinn lost his wife, Rose, when he came back from the war as a vampire and has been quite the playboy ever since. Rose has been in hiding these last centuries afraid of what Quinn will do to her if he finds out that she killed his sire. Her great (x4) grandson is in danger from a dangerous vindictive vampire. She turns to the only person she knows can help her - Quinn. While I enjoyed this book - I couldn't get over how stupid Rose was about certain things - really did she live under a rock and never talk with any other vampires than the dolts she found when first made?? Anyway - still enjoyable and totally fun to see Quinn flustered.

Review: Sookie's at it again! As always, she's being pulled in two different directions. It seems between all of her friends getting married or having babies and the usual paranormal rigmarole, her human desires are becoming more important to her than vampire lovers, fae family, and pack politics. I loved this series when I first started it, but by the time I made it to the double digits, I just stopped caring. I feel like I should finish it out, but I'm in no hurry. In fact, it's been almost four years since I read #11. I still enjoy it once I start reading, I just don't have any desire to run out and pick up the next installment.
Just a reminder that reviews need to be in today, if we want to be able to roll bright and early tomorrow!Hope everyone's staying cozy and warm. We're getting forecasts for snow tonight and this weekend. After how warm December was here, I'm not ready for it!

This was a good read. However this was not my favorite Rachel Gibson read. I had a little trouble connecting with Sadie. But in the end I really liked her. Definitely nothing earth shattering , yet a sweet good fluffy read.
