I've started really enjoying writing flash fiction, and have put three New Year-themed stories on my blog:

I enjoyed reading them, but the one that stood out was:New Year, New Style. It's like the cashier brought the gift for the guy. Did she?

It wasn't supposed to be actually, but that's a really cool interpretation of it. I genuinely hadn't written it to imply that, but rereading it I can see how that would fit.
