Famine (wolfcreed) | 134 comments I read a picture book in the 90s about an outcast mouse with an incredibly long tail - like 20x her body length. She or he was an outcast due to being 'a freak' but was taken in by a family of other animals. It had a moral like the Serendipity animal books.

It had realistic art like Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit :)
