Chapter 32 - loving it... Only 12% to go

Finished it! Not as good as the first one (that is my favourite - giggles so much at that one) but I liked it better than the second - 4* read for me

Son of a bitch! I swear on all that is holy, if I don't get my hands on this book soon, someone is going to need to bail me out of the clink!

Sorry guys...just started the Mistake and personal crisis...had to put one of my dogs down tonight so reading has taken a backseat to real life...

I finished The Score last night and loved it. Here is my review.

(view spoiler)[ It devastated me to lose Beau. He's been around since the 1st book in the series and has always been a good guy, a good friend and a rising star. I can't believe he's gone. But as much as it hurts to read, I can't even imagine how much it had to hurt to write. I'm so sad. (hide spoiler)]

well I hope to join this discussion soon. gah. I cannot friggin believe that I lost my amazon gift card Wahhh!!! this week has been an absolute fail! the only plus is that I've been reading Bully by Penelope Douglas... and omg... loving it!

Tessa, if it hadn't been for you, I would have never thought about that aspect of it. It's amazing how many things there are still left to learn in life. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Finished The Score- loved it. As always love how the author writes. Agree with you Fabi, ugh. Now impatiently waiting for Tucker's book- had a feeling Sabrina would pop up again.

Reading The Score... and totally falling in love with Dean.

Had to take a detour to read Jezebel...it was my book rec to my Bookclub. We meet on Wed. And I wanted to make sure I read it before the meeting...then on to The Score...

Oh Jennifer. Jezebel made so many of our top 2015 lists (mine included) be prepared for the mindf*ck coming your way...I'm so excited for you.

I'm taking a slight break. I drained my kindle battery, LOL!

Finished The Score. I enjoyed it a lot. It wasn't a 5 star read, like The Deal, but still an enjoyable jaunt. The bathroom scene had me in stitches. Oh poor Dean... yes, I did pity the manwhore there for a moment! LOL!

I'd say our first official group read was a rousing success!

Any ideas for the next buddy read?

Crazy good! And Lying in Wait, very satisfying- but would love a glimpse into the aftermath....Now...finally...onto The Score. Weird, I think I'm good with the reading challenge, I feel more pressure trying to stick to the buddy reads. Don't mind me, I'll tag along but likely be behind a bit on them.

Really enjoyed The Score!!! I also read Sebring which was good as well. Sometimes KA books are too long but this one was the perfect length!! Now I'm skimming over my fav parts in the fever series and rereading Burned!

February is coming... what is everyone thinking for a group read?

I made a spreadsheet today of all the top 2015 lists that Maryse posted on the blog. Figured that would help me wittle away at my TBR pile a little at a time too.

Finished The Baller and I decided after seeing it pop up on so many lists that my next read is going to be Kulti by Mariana Zapata, if anyone wants to read that?

That's a good one Grey. But I've already read it. Does anyone have a Feb release they want to BR? Morning Star comes out in Feb. Does anyone here follow that series?

I want to read The Ground Rules - Undone but that doesn't come out until February 23rd... pout.

Anyone have any other suggestions for an earlier in the month read?

Ive got a few Im dying to read in Feb. Definitely The Lie by Karina Halle. I love that series and The Play was an emotional roller coaster for me and the best yet.

I have The Play lined up next but I'm not sure I'm in the mood for an emotional rollercoaster. :-/

There are three on one list I want to read. The Power, Glass Sword, and Grave Visions. OMG, especially Grave Visions. She's had some personal stuff and had to stop writing for a few years. Now, her next book is released and *squee*!

I haven't read any of The Ground Rules books because I wanted to wait for the series to be complete...id be up for the 3rd book in the series, gives me enough time to read the first 2. Or the 3rd Captive Prince book? I read the first and couldn't see what all the fuss was about. Didn't really like either character, but again, the 3rd is coming out on the 2nd I believe and I'd be willing to give it another go...it is an M/M series.

All of the above! We will have to figure out a sharing system for amazon or something so we all dont go broke buying all these shinys haha!

I'm on a KA binge! Reading her Ghost and Reincarnations series and I can't seem to stop.

Ela I finally read Golden Dynasty and it was fantastic! I want to continue in this series but others on Maryse's blog said they didn't like the other books as much so not sure...

Oh Jennifer, I actually liked the other books too. In fact, book 3 (Fantastical) was really really good too, not Lahn and Circe level of greatness, but not much can reach that with me!! They are just very long, and it's heavy... so I get it. But FWIW, I did finish the 4 of them...

I agree!!!! I loved all the Fantastical books even though they were not the greatness of book 1 they are still KA and she is wonderful!

I think you all are having a buddy read. :) King's Landing. Even if I'm not reading it, I love all of your reactions to it. It almost tempts me.

Ok, I finished The Score. I liked it, but it felt a little "same old" to others in the series. 3***

Winston and bathroom scene, Dean's cockiness & dirty texts to Allie, Allie fight with Sean and wanted Dean to comfort her, Dean coaching the kids (swoon), Dean taking care of Allies dad despite dad hating him (double swoon). I hated: how Beaus death felt thrown in to prove Allie's dad right about Dean, Dean's reaction to death along with whole break up and quick wrap ending. Also, I hate when books end with teasers about other couples just to push next book (hide spoiler)]
