Riah | 23 comments I read the first two books in N. K. Jemisin's Broken Earth triology, The Fifth Season and The Obelisk Gate. The first one spends more time on the pre-apocalypse stuff mixed in with the post-apocalypse, but the second one is solidly post-apocalyptic. They're both amazing (and the first one just won this year's Hugo), so I highly recommend them.

Melody | 16 comments I read Archivist Wasp by Nicole Kornher-Stace. I thought it was an interesting way of approaching a post-apocalyptic narrative. It's about a girl named Wasp who is her society's archivist - a position that entails interviewing ghosts to try to find out about the pre-apocalyptic society and the apocalypse. Unfortunately, I wasn't super into the plot, but it was still an interesting enough book that I would recommend checking it out.
