Matthew | 7 comments Hi

I am an author and write, mostly, in the humour genre. A tough nut to crack due to the vast array of different types of humour people possess. I would say my stories can be quite dry with lots of one liners and wordplay.

I have 4 released so far and they're all very cheap, just £0.99. If you're interested I'd love to share them with you and hear what you think, if you'd like to review them, that would be great.

It's hard to find groups where people love reading humour. Last Christmas and Bittersweet are the first two, followed by The Bachelor and Albert's Christmas.

Let me know what you think, don't be put off that they are village stories, I don't write for them to be cutesy, it's mainly a backdrop and feel they could work in a number of settings :)

Thank you :)

Matthew | 7 comments I can officially announce that The Bumpkinton Tales: Volume One will be released in paperback and on Kindle on 14th May 2016!

I am running a Facebook Launch party on the day and will be looking for authors to do a take over. It starts at 10am (I'll do the first hour) and ends at 6pm (I'll run the final hour) but all over half hour or hour slots are available. So, if you wish to join in with a take over and run your own giveaways, just let me know. Spaces are limited.

If anyone has time to interview me I would be interested and I am happy to return the favour, either with your latest or future book release, again, just let me know.

There's more news on my website as to some giveaways of my own:

As well as the Launch Party link: https://www.facebook.com/events/16840...

I have a Thunderclap in the process of being confirmed so will post that once they authorise it

My new book The Bumpkinton Tales: Volume One is available to buy now in paperback (for the first time) and on Kindle. It is made up of 5 short stories and novellas called:

Last Christmas, Bittersweet, The Bachelor, The Family Jewels and Albert's Christmas.

If you enjoy light, humorous stories then this is for you. Here's the synopsis:

Welcome to Bumpkinton!

Come in, have a cup of tea and a scone, and lose yourself in five humorous tales from the village. Follow Father Whitworth O’Grady as he chokes on a penny, Albert Scatterhorn as he becomes the grubbiest Father Christmas ever, and Amelia Goose as she feuds with… well, anybody.

Plus a whole host of characters as they attend the village’s first Singles Night with a sex-crazed ladies’ man. Jump in and find out more for yourself…

I hope you enjoy it and if you enjoy it, I'd love a review.
