What are your favorite sailing narratives? What do you like about them?

Heather Corbin | 1 comments So many. But here are some of the classics.
As Long as It's Fun The Epic Voyages and Extraordinary Times of Lin and Larry Pardey by Herb McCormick
Chasing the Horizon The Life and Times of a Modern Sea Gypsy by Cap'n Fatty Goodlander
An Embarrassment of Mangoes A Caribbean Interlude by Ann Vanderhoof

As a newbie sailor I also enjoyed:
A Sail of Two Idiots 100+ Lessons and Laughs from a Non-Sailor Who Quit the Rat Race, Took the Helm, and Sailed to a New Life in the Caribbean by Renee Petrillo
even though it doesn't get great reviews on Amazon.

Chris Robb (chrisrobb) | 2 comments Obligatory reading for any cruising sailor:
Sailing Alone around the World by Joshua Slocum.
