I started plants from seed but only 1 out of 10 came up! Then I bought a few crowns but those didnt come back either. I yhought asparagus was easy...any ideas?

It's years since I had asparagus. I used to grow it out of trenches that became small ridges as I added soil. This is a really good article on growing from crowns and seed
