UK Amazon Kindle Forum discussion

I see Amazons 3 Kindle deals of the day today are the Gabe Quinn trilogy by Keith Houghton. Had a look and they look interesting. Anyone read any of them?
I`m tempted to buy the 3 of them(only 99p each) but just looking for some feedback as I`d never heard of the author before.
