2017 Reading Challenge discussion

This was even better than the first book in the series, and I really loved the first one. It was action-packed from start to finish, but was still able to find some time for romance, although it didn't dominate the book, staying more on the background and giving the space to the actual plot.
Jubilee is a powerful female lead and I loved her. She's my favorite character in the whole book. Flynn is my precious vanilla cupcake, he's brave and loyal and my heart broke for him a lot of times in through the book.

What I loved the most about this series is the fact that each book is set in a different place and tells the story of a different pair, but the main plot is one and their stories are entwined with each other (the main ones from book one, Lilac and Tavern, are very important in this book as well, despite only making a short appearance).

I can't wait to get my hands on book 3 now!
