There are many secondary characters in this story. Are there any that stand out to you? Any favorites?

Hero, Paul and Tom.

Several stand out:

Ones I like - Sebastian, Tom & Paul

Ones I wonder about: Kat, Amelia, & Hero

Tom was a favourite. I hope to see the development of his character.

C. S. Harris's characterization is out of this world.

The ones who stood out me after reading this book (others stand out even more later) are Hero, Paul and Lovejoy.

I loved Tom, who despite his circumstances was a pretty bright and resourceful kid.

I really liked Hero's cool behavior when she was abducted by Sebastian. I also like her outlook.

Lovejoy was also a favorite because despite pressure to just charge Sebastian, he really wanted to solve the case. Paul is pretty interesting, too.

Kat, Jarvis and Amanda are exceptionally well developed characters who are also survivors. Can't wait to see how they're integrated into the stories going forward.

Tom was my favourite secondary character. A cheeky chap!

I just adored him, Tracey.

I do, too, Stepanie (about Hero).

I loved Sebastian and Kat. I also adored Tom.
