We chose CITY OF BONES by Cassandra Clare for our very first book. We'll start reading this book in the month of February, and share our review videos / live chats at the end of the month (or beginning of next).

I'm so happy to join this group ( if you accept me obviously ) I wanted to read City of Bones such a long time. I'm so happy and exciting to read this book with you

IT IS ALMOST TIME!

Just out of curiosity, what versions of City of Bones do people have? I have the version that's on the book shelf (NY skyline beneath a delicious male torso) but I know there's the newer release, and then the one with the TV show, and I'm pretty sure a UK version?

I have the uk new covers I think US has the same? It's purple with wings on the front

I'm buying my copy tomorrow I'll post a pic on Twitter when I do :D I work next to a massive bookshop. It isn't good for my finances!

YA Warriors February book club has officially begun! The mods are talking about which day to host a live show (time differences) but when do you guys want us to have the reviews up? Before the live show? After? At the end of the month? Just whenever? Let us know :)

I'm so excited to start! At the risk of sounding too needy, would you guys be willing to set up a "general questions/comments" thread for the group? Also, I saw some other groups do this, and I like the concept, of making a "Total list of members" thread where all the member post once with a little introduction and a link to their youtube/blog/whatever. That way we can scroll down and meet everyone in one place instead of clicking each of their accounts. And every time someone new joins they add themselves? If not, that's ok!

I love that idea! Thanks for the input :D I'm down with something like that. I'll add both and tweak it as we go along.

I already read the book but I cannot wait to discuss it! You all will enjoy it so much. Its really good.

So weird I work next to a huge bookshop as well :') I go there on all of my lunchbreaks hahaha

Hey guys! So we're talking about having our reviews out the last week of February, so if you finish City of Bones before then please try not to spoil. We'll create a discussion board for the book after the reviews are all out and we have the live discussion (which we're tentatively aiming for the last weekend in Feb -- TBD) We'll also be taking questions you want answered in the live discussion :)

Not all the mods will be able to join for the Live Show of City of Bones, but Abby from Books and Whimsicals and I will still try to do one this Saturday, February 27th, at 12 PM AZ Time / 1 PM central.

If you want us to answer any questions specifically, post them here!
