The Struggling Arch Book Club discussion

Hey book club friends! It's time for the first featured book of 2016- the second book in the Kane Chronicles trilogy: The Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan. If you have teens or tweens who may just be getting into reading, this would be a great book to read with them. It's the story of Carter and Sadie Kane, the children of Egyptologist Julius Kane and heirs to a legacy that connects them to Egypt's kings, a powerful tradition of magic, and the sometimes dangerous Gods of the Ancient world. You will learn about Egyptian history while taking an adventure alongside the Kane children as they become further entwined with their destiny. It's an enjoyable read so get your hands on it and leave me any questions, comments, or reviews as part of our discussion. Let's try to finish it by the end of February!
