Kathleen MorganThis is the second book I have read in this series although I started with the third in this series. And my second book of 2016
Kathleen MorganAnd the third in this series for me and my third book of the year. You can see where this is going right?
Sue GraftonThis is one of my favorite all time series. Kinsey Milhone is a private detective living in Santa Teresa California. I first began way back at the first letter of the alphabet listening to her books. I have glaucoma and there are times when I cannot read. Anyway, I fell in love with this character and with the others that are in all of Sue Grafton's books.
Forever in Blue: The Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood Ann Brashares This was an audio book. I like to listen to them in bed at night or when I am quilting. I think I would have enjoyed this more if I had read the whole series.
The Death of Santini: The Story of a Father and His Son Pat Conroy I enjoyed this book. It's the first time I have read anything from this author. It explored his family dynamics.
The Witches: Salem, 1692Stacy Schiff I had a difficult time with this book. I finally gave up on it. This is the February book of the month and I also used this book for the Times Gone By challenge.
#6. Read a book that takes place during rise of colonization around the world. about 1500 A.D. to 1900 A.D.
Elizabeth I: Virgin Queen?Philippa Jones I enjoyed this exploration into whether or not Elizabeth had an illegitimate child/children. This is my Times Gone By challenge book for #5. Read a book that takes place during the Dark or Middle Ages.
about 700 A.D. to 1500 A.D.
Ludwika: A Polish Woman's Struggle To Survive In Nazi GermanyChristoph Fischer This was a very good book. Of course I am always a sucker for a love story. It is sad what people had to do to survive the war in German occupied countries. My TGB challenge book for #8. Read a book that takes place during the times of the World Wars.
1914 to 1945
The Shop on Blossom StreetDebbie Macomber
I love Debbie Macomber's books. They are easy reads and they always seem to have a love story in them. I actually started this yesterday and finished in the middle of the night. I couldn't sleep!
Hide in Plain SightMarta Perry
This is yet another series. I seem to gravitate toward them. I also like this one. Will follow through and read the whole series.
