Okay so....I was kind of right about the white wolf being controlled. He was put in a horrid camp then brought out and all but brainwashed. Then given everything he developed some bloodlust type thing. I get why she couldn't pull the trigger and end him.
So....I still don't know if I like Kyle or Jason anymore. Sure Jason snapped out of his stupper and realized things had gone too far with the fire. But he was okay with his friend being tased or them both being man handled? Oh and beating the guy you suspects sister is okay? WTF NO! Still I am glad he started to make his move to some type of redemption and helped them. But he still freaked out too much on her having a wound and might being infected. I don't know if he would have helped if she were and that is an issue.
Kyle...he lied to her. He didn't decide to make a move on her until after he was a werewolf and after he realized his friend had feelings for her. So I don't trust his feelings for her. I also think it's pretty shitty of him to leave. His letter was BS. Oh for her own protection, I call BS. Also given how she has been abandoned by everyone in her life, to pull her in then leave her. That was the worst part.
Right now I feel worst for Tess. She has no idea what's happening just that the man she loved left her and now Mac has run away.
Now I'm glad Derby is dead, though I never got to see anything bad happen to Alexis and I still regret that because OMG did I want her to get hers. Still they did a pretty crap job at covering it up. Like hey he brought me out here to have his son, the werewolf who has been pretending to be in love with my sister, to kill me like he killed the others to make himself seem important and sway Amy's g-pa to their side. No all they did was further his cause! Accept that his lunatics got something on YouTube, again can I say how my plan to get the truth online was the best option!!!!!

So in the end I did feel a bit bad for Ben because he really had it tough, but that doesn't excuse his behavior.
I am pretty upset with Kyle for leaving and while I understand why he did it I still wish he'd talk to her. I know that he doesn't have only Mac to think about and that living with his parents puts them at risk. Plus I know that if he lost control like Trey did in the car when his emotions took over and that happened after years of training, things could get bad and Kyle could not forgive himself. Also I think that even though he was protecting her, killing Derby in wolf form took a toll on his conscience. With that being said, I really just wanted him to talk to her.
Jason, I am glad he came around and that he's helping Mac and all that; but I still can't forgive him for Serena.
I feel horrible for Tess. I really hope that she'll get through this because it's hard reading how much she's hurt.
All in all I really enjoyed the book; it did have a bit too much drama for my liking, however, it had a good balance of action and character development to compensate for that. I am looking forward to the sequel.
