I am not very brave, I wouldn't have been able to even attempt it. I appreciate knowing you took one for the team like that!
It is funny how many bad recipes are available on line. But some very good ones too!

This recipe sounds as if it were based on a dare anyway
Thanks for taking one for the team :D
I love trying new recipes! I made brigadeiros one time in an attempt to embrace my Brazilian heritage, but I don't know if it turned out exactly right... It tasted amazing though, and you can't really eat a lot because it's really filling.
You guys should try it!

Oh, I guess that would be important lol.
So pretty much their Brazil's version of fudge balls.
You need:
1 (14 oz.) can of condensed milk
1/4 cup cocoa powder
2 tbsp softened butter
1 tbsp vanilla extract
(You also need something to roll the fudge balls in - I used coconut, people use chopped nuts, sprinkles, etc. Your choice!)
1. Mix the condensed milk and cocoa powder together until there's no lumps. Then, stir in the butter.
2. Cook in a medium non-stick saucepan (or just grease it) over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and starts to show the bottom of the pan when you scrape it with your wood spoon (about 5-8 minutes). The brigadeiro mixture should be thick enough to show you the bottom of the pan for a couple of seconds before the mixture levels out again.
3. When brigadeiro is ready, remove from the stove top, mix in the vanilla extract and spread mixture onto a greased plate.
4. Let cool to room temperature before starting to roll them into balls with greased hands. Then, roll the balls into your sprinkles, nuts, coconut, etc...
** There's a recipe that gives you the option of microwaving it - my advice to you, don't do it. It's way better stove top route.

I thought I'd get your opinions on this
"Writing from the heart VS writing smart"
I write and it's something I've noticed a lot of readers do. No poetry or anything like that in my case, can't rhyme to save life, more like novellas and novels (unpublished as yet).
My biggest problem is I always feel my work is not ready, or it could be better which leads to a certain resentment towards myself and my inability to just go for it. (thus my not being published thus far)
I get so attached to every character I create and their stories and even when I've written my heart out every time I re-read it I always want... more. I always get that "what if"problem where you start to see people reading my work and thinking it nothing special which would suck given how I love writing.
How does one know when their work ready for others to see?
(I have a blog I put my work up on when I'm not panicking over whether it'll be enjoyed or not)

I fret over everything I write, that someone will expect more from me. You just have to be strong and have someone look at it with fresh eyes. It is hard to let it go and say this is finished.

So yesterday I decided to go "Sheek Punk" with my new look.
Had the sides & lower back of my head cut low/semi shaved. And had a new color put in. "Copper Red"
(view spoiler)
And last week, I had another addition added to my ear

Private messaging (between users) will be down for approximately 2 hours tonight starting at 8:00 p.m. Pacific time. It should last no longer than 2 hours (though we're hoping it will actually be less time than that), so please don't panic if you can't send/receive messages during this time. We'll do our best to make sure this is as short as possible.

So a few days ago when I went to the store, I got some. Apparently, today, I realized that even though I was looking at the Organic Apple Cider Vinegar on the shelf, I still selected the Non Organic bottle. Again, didn't realize this until today when I actually used it. #SMH
