I have published two books, Mottak: An African tale of Immigration and Asylum as well as the recently published Amid the Chaos. It is a great pleasure to join an African literary discussion group where I get to discover many insightful African books as well as meet enthusiastic readers around the globe!
Welcome Nathan! I do not come across many Eritrean authors and I haven't yet read one from that country.

We are immersed in South Sudan until the end of this month.
Our official reads for this stop are Beyond the River Yei: Life in the Land Where Sleeping Is a Disease, which was difficult to access, and why we are also reading Emma's War. I opened a side-read for a collection of short stories, There Is a Country: New Fiction from the New Nation of South Sudan
