What Are You Listening to Right Now? (v2)
Carol I was just coming in to say I was listening to Warren Zevon - Werewolves of London.
It's on Mr G's Extra Special playlist. A play list that allows only one song from each artist. He has about 120 songs on it.
We are now onto John Mellencamp - Pink Houses

I'm enjoying a mix from October of 2013. It has songs from 2012 and 2013 on it and they're all disgustingly pop music based.
Early Elton John, i.e., everything up to and including "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road." After that, he fell apart.

Ooh, a twin! I can't find Clark in all these pages, or among so many members, to investigate!

High atop the Mount Rushmore of 70’s hair are Farah Fawcett, Roger Daltrey, Keith Richards…and Rod Stewart.
Yeah, I know. Once he met Britt Eklund and went Hollywood, he just fell apart but the Faces section of his resume and those early solo albums are really something.

Whoop!
Whoop!
Axle Whitehead - I don't do surprises.

The Basement by Eric Hutchinson. Just discovered him last week. And just missed his ONE Los Angeles show.
Underground Garage on XM radio plays the original and then the cover (popular) version. Today I heard I'm into Something Good by Earl Jean, then again by Herman's Hermits. Written by Carole King, fyi.
It was three in a row day on a local "Classic Rock" station:Ozzie, etal.
B.O.C.
Zep
etc...
That Sting song about Messages in a Bottle is still reverberating at the moment.

Nooooo I finally got it out of my head (oh damn there's another 'catchy' tune that is going to echo in the noise for a bit) but now that reggae fusion beat is baaaaack!
Showtunes, theme songs, yeah that is the ticket.
Uh oh, Gilligan flashbacks . . .
Well, now I feel really ancient. With a few exceptions (Stones, Stewart), I don't even know who most of these are. Right now I'm listening to a talking book actually, and to make it worse, it's a historical-romance.
Sigh.
Don't let it worry you Miss Jessie. Everyone is entitled to have a few vices. :)
I am just listening to my Top Rated music playlist. OMG I love my taste in music. Hehe
Currently on - De Cara a la Pared by Lhasa de Sela.

I can. I caaaaannnnn.I'm listening to anything but mainstream radio. I have no time for that shit, currently.
I caaaaaaannnnn'ttttt. Jazz makes me twitchy and gives me a headache.

I just returned a CD I borrowed - Atlanta Rhythm Section greatest hits. They played here at Harborfest, along with Grand Funk Railroad and Almost Queen. Almost Brian May was overheard on the phone saying "I'm looking out over Lake Erie right now!" (He was looking at Lake Ontario.)
Imperial Mammoth - Gold ConfettiSome tracks are really great, others get a bit annoying. One track that I like a lot is sadly short.
Some songs are kind of boppy, others are more folksy. It's definitely NOT heavy metal. It wouldn't even qualify as rock.I'm liking it.
I started playing around with Amazon Prime Music. So I've put a bunch of other random items in my library. Like "Eye of the Tiger" (Toto) and "Mirrors" (Justin Timberlake). Among others. But Imperial Mammoth I purchased the whole album.
I no longer get to listen to my music. The kids have taken control. Goodness knows what it is I am listening to these days.

Yes, the nuclear solution music. Slim Whitman. If they are indeed aliens, well . . .
Proceed with caution - and good luck!
I hate to admit it for some reason, but I've been listening this weekend off and on to dub step inspired electric violin music ala Lindsey Stirling. She's a YouTube sensation. Couple of interesting videos of her performing live.
There IS a God! I don't care what anyone says. Those guys wrote some great songs. Or uh, somebody wrote some good songs for them.
