the alleyways are good places to hide if you're pursued by the queen's soldiers. it's a twisting, turning, winding maze of walls and roads, and few people know the way out.

Raven carefully looked down the alley, shooting a glance at Silver as she continued with cautious steps down it. They'd done it. They'd snuck away.
Lord, the Rebellion leaders would be so angry with her.
She shook that thought away, sticking to the wall as she walked.

Eve O. Spellman "I hope you k ow the way." Silver whispered to RVen as she walked.

"Sort of. Not really. I haven't come here since…" Raven trailed off, unwilling to speak about her past. "Well. Bad stuff happened." She ducked into a doorway, taking a quick look outside onto a narrow, darkened street. "It's like a maze in here. How are we going to get out?" She looked up, a thought forming in her head, and began studying the rooftops.

Eve O. Spellman "Depends whether or not you want to be Hansel and Gretel." Silver said, not pressing the 'past' subject.

"I have a better idea," Raven told her. "The rooftops- we could see everything. We'd know where to go."

Eve O. Spellman "That's still Hansel and Gretel. Well sort of." Silver continued to follow her fighting back tears. All of those terrible times.

"Come on." Raven offered Silver her hand with a faint, reassuring smile. "We're going up. It'll also be a good place to hide."

Eve O. Spellman Silver waved her hand away. She new if she took it her wall would break.

Raven frowned but didn't ask what was going on. "Let's go," she said, using magic so that a gust of wind pushed both Silver and Raven up to the roof.

message 11: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman "Thanks for the lift." Silver brushed her clothes. "What now?"

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

"Look," Raven whispered, not really hearing Silver's question. She had scampered to the edge of the roof to look at the city.

message 13: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman Silver followed her and went up the wall. "Woah."

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

"I… I used to live over there," Raven said softly, pointing to a part of the city.

message 15: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman Silver stuck her tongue at it and then the castle. "That made me feel better." Silver looked at the huge city. "Is there anything you want to talk about?"

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

"I used to have a friend," Raven continued, quiet. "His name… Well, I think he's dead now, so that doesn't matter."

message 17: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman Silver put a hand on Raven's back. "Well, you got me now. So.. what does he look like so if I see him."

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

"He had brown eyes," Raven murmured. "And hair that always stuck up and couldn't be combed down, no matter how hard he tried. And... he was my best friend. He'd always make me laugh."

message 19: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman "If I find him Ill kidnapp hi if I have to." Silver rubbed her back.

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

"He's dead. Don't worry about it..." Raven hung her head, staring at the roofs of the city, biting her lip as she thought.

message 21: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman "I understand. And I mean that." Silver said looking at the blood red castle.

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

"His name was Asher." Raven was silent for a few seconds. "Asher o'Brein."

message 23: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman "Asher....Asher. Nice Name." Silver put her head in her hands. Past.. The past. Why is the past the always horrible to keep?

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

"Did you have any friends?" Raven asked faintly. She didn't want to talk about herself anymore.

message 25: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman "Yeah. I did. In fact I had a Boy friend. Then the Queen decided to be "Off with their heads!" So yeah, no any more." silver sighed. "Curse the Queen." She muttered.

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

"I've never had a boyfriend," Raven said with a frown. "What's it like?"

message 27: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman "It was wonderful. He actually care about me. I helped to pay his debt. It cost almost all of of my money. But the Queen wasn't happy." Silver sighed. "Once again, Curse the Queen." Silver turned to Raven. "Could you do me a favor?"

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

"Anything. Anything, sure." Raven turned to face Silver.

message 29: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman "Where the Queen is over thrown, I want to be there to say "Off with her head!"" Silver said smiling.

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

"Deal," Raven agreed. "But I get to be the one who chops it off her neck."

message 31: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman "Double deal!" Silver laughed. "How many people do you know in the headquarters?"

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

"Um… No one." Raven sighed. "How are we supposed to get in?"

message 33: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman Silver shook her head. "I don't think we are on the right page. I meant the Rebal Headquarters."

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

"Oh. Um… Well. A lot. I know the leaders," Raven replied.

message 35: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman Silver nodded. "Just wodering. Now, break into where?"

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

"The palace, of course," Raven told her, turning her gaze to the roof of the queen's castle. "Wait a moment…"

message 37: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman Silver swallowed. It's just another house. Calm down.

message 38: by [deleted user] (last edited Apr 30, 2016 02:28PM) (new)

"We could sneak in by using the rooftops," Raven suggested slyly. "Avoiding detection. We'd be just like spies," she whispered, a sudden pang of sadness hitting her. It had always been Asher's favorite 'imagining' game, playing spies. Stars, I miss him, Raven thought to herself.

message 39: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman "Whatever you say boss." Silver said slyly. Silver smiled. She ticked me off and now I am going to go in and do something that will hopefully tick her off!

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

"Well, come on then," Raven said, standing and taking a few steps away from the edge of the roof. Then she took a running leap and landed hard on the roof next to it, about three feet away. "No magic, we're in the queen's realm now! Don't want her detecting us!"

message 41: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman "Great." Silver mummer. Silver ran a landed on the roof more graceful than Raven.

message 42: by [deleted user] (new)

Raven jumped to the next roof, looking back at Silver and then continuing to the next one.

message 43: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman Silver followed her. She always had fun with this.

message 44: by [deleted user] (new)

Raven leaped to the next roof and surveyed the surrounding. "Look," she said, pointing to the palace.

message 45: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman Silver looked. "Wow. How is it that way?" Silver raised an eyebrow.

message 46: by [deleted user] (new)

"Oh, don't worry. We'll be at the palace in no time," Raven said, mustering a cheerful smile.

message 47: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman Silver smiled back. She was trying her best not to puke. That happened when she saw the castle.

message 48: by [deleted user] (new)

Raven paused, leaning against a steeple to catch her breath. She didn't want to get close to the Queen but she couldn't really help it.

message 49: by Eve O. Spellman (new)

Eve O. Spellman Silver gagged. that's better. Better than puking.<\i>

message 50: by [deleted user] (new)

"Hey, you okay? You look kinda sick," Raven said, turning her attention on Silver.
