I see a building conflict - makes me wonder if it will be identified as the cause of why Biff's gospel was not told until now:

I think I was supposed to end up liking Biff, but he was just okay. Actually, I wonder how Joshua put up with him for all those years. But, I suppose his snark is kind of endearing.

Since you're done reading it I guess I can say now that I kept picturing Jack Black as Biff. Lol!!

Perfect! I pictured Jared Leto as Joshua.

Interesting - I pictured him as a skinny stoner type (I think the cover may have influenced me!)

Yeah I think they were both described as skinny but Biff's humor kept making me picture Black. I'm hoping to get the book back from the library this week if it gets turned in. I leave for training in Oklahoma next week so if I don't get it now it'll be another two weeks. :(

I could see a young Edward Norton as Biff if you want to stick to Moore's description, but Black is pretty great "casting"!

But who would play Maggie?

Interesting . . . I actually didn't come up with an image of her in my mind while I was reading. I kind of thought of some of the classic artists depictions.

Maybe a dark haired Jennifer Lawrence? (Just watched the last Hunger Games, so that is probably why she is the first actress I go to)

Lauren Graham maybe (might be a bit old for this role now)

Oh I like Lauren Graham! But my daughter and I were Gilmore Girls fanatics. :)
