Discuss the author Christopher Moore here - other books you have read, plan to read etc.

Kandice | 944 comments I mentioned this to Matthew before, but one of the rabbis I work for borrowed my copy of this book and he and Chris emailed each other back and forth about things for a couple of months. Some serious, some not so serious.

An example of the not so serious was Chris' idea of the most beautiful Jewish woman in the world and their difference of opinion on that subject!

Anyway, At ComicCon that year I met him and he sent a couple of books, t-shirts, etc. to my rabbi and was really nice and funny. He autographed my books too. :)

Moore's Shakespeare Satire is pretty good:

Fool by Christopher Moore and The Serpent of Venice by Christopher Moore

I also enjoyed A Dirty Job (Grim Reaper, #1) by Christopher Moore a lot and I am looking forward to checking out the sequel: Secondhand Souls (Grim Reaper, #2) by Christopher Moore

Name dropping . . . ;) Soon Kandice will be too cool for all of us lowly folks! :)

Kandice | 944 comments The only Moore I've read that I didn't care for was Fluke Or, I Know Why the Winged Whale Sings by Christopher Moore .

A Dirty Job (Grim Reaper, #1) by Christopher Moore is my favorite, though.

Good to know . . . if I continue through Moore's works, I will skip this one!

Kandice | 944 comments He's always a bit silly, but that one verged on stupidity.

The Stupidest Angel: A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror was really funny as well, if you are looking for more. Quirky characters with a down-home feel.

I'm looking forward to Secondhand Souls as well. Maybe we should do a buddy read sometime. :)
