I was thinking about him today, he was a really good brother to Mare. Mare and him had a connection that she didn't even have with her own sister and they had such a playful banter kind of relationship. I loved every time he was in a chapter and it just made me smile:)
Ughh I hated when he died! I think I went into short term depression, but I pulled myself together to finish the book
His death provided the feeling that the battle was a loss for everyone. It was necessary for the book so as much as I hate that he died, I respect the symbolism of his death.
I loved Shade so much because he didn't push Mare to do this or that but he also let her know what he though was right and was such a wonderful person overall.
MY BABY!! I am somehow going to walk into the book and tear Samos Limb from limb!! He is a butt and doesn't deserve to die. He deserves worse!!!
I was so devastated when Shade died. We didn't know him too well, but there was that sibling connection between Shade and Mare. Furthermore when in the end Farley has the kid, I was like whyyyy! Victoria why!
I know why. Because Victoria is evil and likes to kill everyone off one by one. Next thing you know Cal is going to die!!! 😭 😭 The only one I want her to kill is Maven
Omg I love Maven!! I wouldn't mind Cal dying though. But I agree Why does Victoria have to kill the good people!
The books haven't been the same since Shade died! He was the only character that could make a scene happy without giving us any suspicions, because his intentions were so pure! He just wanted to save his sister, his family, and make the world better! In a series based around betrayal, it makes sense that the only guy who wouldn't betray a fly would die. I can't believe I didn't see that coming.
I love how Clara is now here. Victoria can’t kill Clara like she did Shade. Or Farley for that matter. I don’t think anything is capable of killing Farley.
