The Palace of the Cursed discussion

The Guard station is situated at the enterance into the prison grounds. It is where the off duty guards sleep and eat before coming back on duty. Guards are station inside and outside the prison to keep the Cursed in check. They have full authority and can do whatever they want. They have whips and swords to threaten and kill if they need to (though they never kill). They have things to keep the dangerous ones in check like mussels and drugs etc.

In the dark of night, a shadow moved, beckoning another to follow it. They were silent, not a sound.

Caleb moved along the wall of the guard station, carrying the deer within his arms.

Delilah followed Caleb, making no sound (not knew there heh). She listened for any guard who may or may not be close and would warn Caleb silently if there were.

Seeing the coast was clear, Caleb cut across a small courtyard, straight towards the front door of the guards station. Luckily the guards were occupied- on the other side of the Palace.

Delilah remains on high alert. She can sense that the guards aren't close...yet but she's cautious all the same as she continues to follow Caleb in silence.

"I think here is where we shall set up," Caleb whispered.

Delilah blinked. Her mind on watching for trouble that she nearly jumped when Caleb whispered, but she didn't. "Okay, let's get to work," she whispered back.

Caleb handed her a sack that contained some tools and a long, thin string of wire. "Attach one end of the wire here, and another across the way. Don't get caught." he smiled.

Not gonna get caught. I'm too fast for that," Delilah sort of whisper-chuckled at that before taking up the items and 'speeding' off to complete this task.

Some time later, she'd returned, "Done." she said with a wicked sort of smile.

"Perfect," he said, and began to attach the deer to another wire. "When a guard trips it, off our deer goes."

"Can't wait for that to happen," Delilah said with that same gleam to her grin but now had encompassed to her eyes. She was looking forward to this. For all the heartache the guards had put her through over the years since her family's deaths. "So we hide or leave, right?"

"Both Madame. And don't you know, my room's got the perfect view. Want to head up there after I give Kit the signal?"

A brow rose at that though Delilah was curious. "Sure thing. Just make sure Kit comes with too." she responded with a smile.

"Oh, she'll make her way up. She's just got some things to take care of." Caleb responded, grinning back.

"Right," Delilah said glancing at Caleb with that 'are you sure' sort of look. "Then let's go and watch the fun."

"Up the stairs we go!"

((Do we want them to go back to his room, or should we just rp here so we can do guardy things?))

"Yes, up we go," Delilah said.

((Depends on what kind of guardy things? Otherwise we can meet Kit in Caleb's room and wait for the fun to begin. *evil smirk*)

((I think they can go meet in the room. I can rp some of the guards from there anyway.))

(Sure thing.)

"Then let's go before we get caught up in the commotion!" and with that, Caleb took off, knowing Delilah would catch up.

With a grin, Delilah took off after Caleb. She knew where to go in a way but preferred to follow along behind.
