Children's Book Challenge
Created by Corrine
Do you remember the book that made you fall in love with reading? What about the one that you re-read so many times the binding started to break? What book did your parents catch you staying up with late at night?
Sometimes it's fun to revisit these books for another read, now that we're older. Books geared towards children are so full of wonder and often depict fantastic new worlds and characters.
Duration: 1 Month
Levels:
1-3 Books - Beginner
4-6 Books - Intermediate
7+ Books - Master
Option One
If your favorite books from your childhood were a series, read as much of the series as you can in order. For example:
1st: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
2nd: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
etc.
Option Two
Spell out an activity you enjoyed doing as a child with book titles from your past. You can use author names, title names, or character names. For example:
S
O
C - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator
C - C.S. Lewis - The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
E
R - Redwall
Option Three
Go into the mind of a child again and check out some of the books other members have on their challenges that you may not have read yet!
