I'll pass this one. I have such a huge book for Uni to read...and I can't find it in the library

I'm going to read it as it fills the antonym spot on the 2015 challenge.

Just started reading this. I saw the film for the first time a few weeks ago and enjoyed it so hoping the book is better.

I'll be starting it in the next couple of days.

Yes, it stars Kevin Spacey, John Cusack and Jude Law. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it but it was compelling in a strange way!

Enjoying this book, the writing is nice and easy to get into and some of the characters in Savannah are great, Luther has been my favourite so far with his flies tied to string.

Really enjoyed this book, although I felt it could have been a little shorter, the film certainly condenses it of course, and some things are left out. I did love the characters, especially The Lady Chablis, who is also in the film, playing herself! You really get a sense of the inhabitants living in a backwater and the oddballs the town produces and I was reading I could not help but imagine the town bathed in perpetual sunlight.
Those poor flies though!

Brilliant, just read about The Lady Chablis, she was awesome, glad she was included in the movie, not seen it yet but will read it after the book.

Finished it, good read. Need to find time to watch the movie, wanna see Lady Chablis on screen. :-)
