I'm still on the fence about this one :) If anyone reads it I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Nancy (paper_addict) I had to put this on hold at the library. I can't remember if they don't have it or if they are all checked out but it should be coming from another library in their system.

Me too!

Lauren Stoolfire | 2047 comments I'm a little over 50 pages through it and so far I'm liking it well enough. :)

Awesome! That makes me smile, Lauren :)

Catherine Bruno | 771 comments I was a little iffy about it when I first started it, but then I became intrigued. I bought a copy and returned the copy I got from the library because I have to focus on another book that I'll be teaching. But, I fully intend on picking it back up again. Plus I can get it signed at YallWest.

Nancy (paper_addict) I picked up a copy frm the library.

Catherine Bruno | 771 comments Just finished it. At first I was unsure about it. The plot was confusing at the beginnig and it wasn't making a lot of sense, but once it got going I enjoyed reading it. The ending however, frustrated me to no end and now I want to read the next book, I HAVE to.

Hannah (Hannah, Fully) (hannahfully) I felt this was slow at first and a little overwhelming, but I enjoyed it by the end.

I'm STILL waiting for my copy from the library! Glad to hear you both liked it @Catherine and @Sophia! :)

Nancy (paper_addict) I have my library copy but haven't started it yet. I hope people come back and discuss it even if it is May soon.

Catherine Bruno | 771 comments @Nancy I definitely will!

I JUST finished this one! I really liked it, a solid 4 star read. I actually didn't find it very confusing (compared to something like Timebound), but did love the premise and the concept. The time travel used in this one was very unique in a lot of ways. I loved the characters, although with the exception of Nicholas (who I thought was perfect), they seemed a little cardboard at times--all good or all evil. I like a little more complexity in my characters, but Nicholas's character made up for the rest. And I did like Etta, too.

My favorite part was the concept and the historical settings. All kinds of places and times! I love time travel just for that reason.

My biggest complaint was the romance. I just didn't really feel it. Towards the end, I did feel a bit more from Nicholas, but with Etta, it all felt a bit too easy.

I ignored the romance, which was pretty easy to do, as it wasn't a huge part of the story until towards the end, and then enough other stuff was happening to keep me happy.

I'd love to hear what you all thought of it! Overall, a very fun book for me!

Nancy (paper_addict) I finished last night. Somehow I never noticed this was book 1. So when I got near the end and saw I had about 100 pages left and realized this story wasn't going to get resolved, I was annoyed.

I like time travel books but this book just didn't do a lot for me in the time travel area. It took a while just to get into the book. It just didn't flow at the beginning. The places they went to were interesting but the reason for their travels was not original.

I am kind of bummed out that I didn't love this book.
