Hi Jackie!

These seem like good goals for this year, especially 1 & 2, though I'm not sure about 4 and maybe 6.

Anyways, good luck with this year!

Happy reading!

Hi, Nick! Thank you. Four is definitely going to be challenging, and I'm actually falling a little behind with it currently. I don't go too in-depth with reviews for the most part, usually just my thoughts upon finishing and whether or not I'd recommend the book to others.

Six is not as challenging because I live in NYC! I've actually been to two author events already this year. Hopefully many more than just my goal amount. :) Happy reading to you as well!

Jackie (jacqueline016) | 121 comments Goal 3 update:

Haven't ready any classics yet this year, although Catch-22 is on my horizon for the first one of 2016. I've heard it's laugh-out-loud funny and I'm really looking forward to reading it. I should have it finished by the end of May.
Catch-22 by Joseph Heller

message 7: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (jacqueline016) | 121 comments Goal 4 update:

A few reviews behind (maybe 2-3) hopefully will catch up on them this week.

Goal 5 update:

Haven't read any ARC's yet. Just received one in the mail last week and I intend to have it finished by Sunday.
The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper by Phaedra Patrick

Goal 6 update:

I have attended two author events so far this year! The first one was for the new novel Try Not to Breathe by Holly Seddon. The event was at Penguin Random House back in January and we chatted with her via Google hang-out.

The second author event I attended was also in January for the novel City on Fire by Garth Risk Hallberg. Very cool hang out at Mashable hosted by MashReads. Even got my book signed! :)
