Sushi ♥ (sushixreads) Reading Slumps, we’ve all (unfortunately) been there :(

I was talking to a friend on instagram the other day while in a really bad reading slump and she (SHOUTOUT TO MY LOVE RACHAELREXDS HAHA) suggested that I read a contemporary and that definitely helped me!

Another thing that I think can help reading slumps is reading shorter books or re reading a favorite!

My question to you guys is: What suggestions do you have to get out of a reading slump!

Vish (vish1o1o) | 3 comments hey, we all go through these slumps, or sometimes a book hangover (where you loved a book/series so much you dont feel like starting new one , and even if you do start new one, you cant engage yourself in)..........well i usually go on binge chick-lit reading, where in i just read typical romance novels. i usually noticed that by the time i finish the second one i am ready to move on to next proper book/series.
romance and chick lit is fun but it soon gets boring if you read it one over other so its easy to move on to other genres and by this time i am also out of that previous slump :D

hope this can help :D

to get out of a sort of mini reading slump, I went out and bought a short 105 page novella
