Really disappointing. I loved ball the previous books I read because I learned so much history from the r search he did. Would not recommend this one.

I too was very disappointed in this book, Chris. Here was Richard Chapman, whom I believe was a good man who tried to do the right thing and where did it get him = dead. I guess that bachelor parties can go very wrong, which this one did, but the sex slave business here seemed a tad much with the Russians involved. IF the book had centered more on the sex slave business, with Bohjalian's attention to detail/research, it would have been more credible IMO. The most interesting part of the book , to me, was the back story of one of the exotic dancers, Alexandra, and her Russian childhood.
We'll just hope that his next will be better, eh?
