I nominate I Heart You, You Haunt Me by Lisa Schroeder. I've been wanting to read it for a while now, and it's written in prose so it's kind of a fresh, different way to read.
Oooh a poetry collection! Great choice, Sara! Bhavya, do you have any other nominations that aren't YA? Because as I've said in the previous group read nominations and this one, I think we should expand and read other genres.I Heart You, You Haunt Me is actually also YA, Julia (I saw the page on Goodreads), but I guess since its writing style is different than our previous reads it'll be quite interesting to read and explore :)
I nominate How to Be Both by Ali Smith, it's an adult literary/contemporary/historical fiction and I've heard many good things about it and its writing style.
Oh, I guess it is YA! I was thinking more of the prose aspect of it. I can nominate another book if you prefer.
Ayunda, I do. I change my nomination for this month to Jaya: An Illustrated Retelling of the Mahabharata.
No it's totally alright, Julia! It has a different writing style so it might be interesting. That sounds like an interesting nomination Bhavya! Will be interesting to read something about Indian culture :)

During the dates of 5-12, this topic will be open for us to nominate the books we want to read for May.
Keep in mind that these are the books we've read in the past year (yes, this group has existed for a year! Wow!): https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...
And I really want to emphasize that we should nominate books that are in different genres that we haven't explored yet.
Some genres you can choose from:
Memoir
Fantasy
Middle Grade
Crime/Mystery (which we read in March)
Horror/Thriller
Travel
Poetry/Short story collections
Magical realism
Humor/Comedy
Literary fiction
Looking forward to seeing your nominations! Don't forget to nominate as soon as you can, since this topic will be closed on the 13th.
