Literazzi discussion

This memoir isn't anything like I thought it would be. I thought it would include her affair with the Robert Redford character in Out of Africa, because she was the 'other woman.' I'm so disappointed! Anybody else surprised? I'm still enjoying it very much. I just realize I'm going to have to read Circling the Sun by Paula McClain to get the scoop about her affair.

I read this quite a while ago and had no expectations thus no disappointments. Both books are good and give a different perspective. I liked reading this first, so I feel you're reading about her in the best order.

I'm glad to hear that. I'm about half way through and have to say
that I don't understand why so many women say it's one of their all-time favorite books. It's interesting, but it wouldn't make my favorites list at all so far.
