Similarly I don't have one favourite author though I have fond memories of reading Piers Anthony from the age of 11 or so and falling in love with his series. Especially the Xanth series!

Hi, i'm Maxine, 33 and have joined this group for the Uprooted read, I've been meaning to get to it for ages, but keep getting distracted by all the other bright and shiny books out there.
A couple of my faves would be the Mistborn Trilogy, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas and anything by Patricia Briggs.
Fave author is Brandon Sanderson. That man is a bloody genius.
I have a tan Staffy named Rocky, he was a rescue, we got him when he was 2 1/2, he has just turned 5. I also have two kids. Erika is 11 and Logan turns 3 in a month.
