Megan, one of my favorite books is Jane Eyre, too. I've read it a couple of times and it just never gets old. Other than Jane Eyre though my favorite would have to be the Harry Potter series.
the fault in our stars by john green and the sky is everywhere by jandy nelson are my all time favourites
Marissa, Megan, I love Jane Eyre too:) Along with Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones and I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak
One of my favorite books that not everybody knows is The Secrets of the Immortal Life Nicholas Flamel. It's great for so many reasons and really mind blowing. It has every kind of mythology in it, and every character (except the 2 main characters, twins Josh and Sophie) is either from mythology or a famous immortal human.
Suheyla I have only been able to read the second book thinking it was the first and it was so awesome!!!! I have been trying to find the sorcerer so that I can read all the series but sadly they arent in my country :(. Eitherway, my favorite book for now... To hard to think about right now, but a book that I cant seem to forget is a time for dancing. Probably because I read it at a younger age and it was the first book that actually made me cry
The Alchemyst has been sitting on my shelf for months and I decided to actually read it because you guys mentioned it. It was awesome; I swear there was never a dull moment. I'm definitely gonna continue with the series.
I love how all of you are so sure about your choices, I always get nervous when people ask me this question because I can't decide! don't make me! but one of my 'new' faves in recent years has been the chaos walking trilogy, any cw fans here?
I've always wanted to read the Chaos Walking trilogy, but I haven't yet. I read another book by the author called A Monster Calls though, and I absolutely loved it!
I am dying now because a friend of mine let me borrow her kindle so I could read CoHF and I am scared to go on after the prologue, I am not ready
My favorite book is Great Expectations by Charles Dickens or To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee (of course, the Harry Potter series is my ultimate favorite)!
Too many to count! I also love Jane Eyre, it's probably my favorite classic. (I'm also glad to see someone who loves A Monster Calls! I don't cry at books too often, but that one got me where I live.) I think my favorite ongoing YA series right now is a tie between The Darkest Minds (I read it last year! I promise not to spoil anything) and The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. I also love Stephen King and cheap mediocre horror novels are my guilty pleasure.
