And yes, I do. Mostly because people always mispronounce my name, and it gets quite annoying.

My name is Avalon, of course. XD

My mom chose it because she absolutely loves Arthurian legends, and Avalon was the name of the island where Excalibur was created.
All my siblings are also named after Arthurian legends. My dad wanted to name me after my aunt, Liridonna. Or my mom, Qendresa.

I do like my name, it's pretty nice but I kind wish my dad DID name me after my aunt Liridonna. Because Liridonna sounds pretty.

My parents chose it because since Im an Aquarius they knew one of my traits would be being independent. Thats what my name means, it means a independent woman.

My mom told me that she liked its meanings and also Yara is the name of an Arabic singer {I hate being named after singers}. she also said that she was going to chose either Yara or Dima {dee.ma}. and so my dad liked Yara better so they chose it to be my name.

My name is Haley. I looked it up and it means "Meadow of Hay" I have no idea...

Idk how my parents chose it, but it was Haley or Diane.

Of course, my name is Megan. It means "Pearl" or even sometimes "Little Pearl". And apparently, websites say I'm "strong and able".

Mamie, means nothing really... Well it is a form of Marget, witch isn't my name! And Marget means pearl.

I'm Svetlana
I'm pretty sure ot means "the light" in Russian but I'm not positive. I'm not Russian, but my parents saw that one of the athletes in the Olympics had my name so they gave it to me!
As for nicknames, when I was little I went by Lana but now I go by my full name. Whenever one of my friends needs to get my attention fast they call me Svet (about this, I wanted to make sure Svet didn't mean, like, intestines or anything and it ended up meaning Light which is kind of obvious now that I think about it). The guys in my class have a running joke that I'm actually Russian and they call me Svetters, in a Russian accent. So yep, that's my name(s)!

Don't worry, this group has become a lot more subdued from last year, mostly because people aren't that active anymore. I'll spare you the details of what I had to deal with.

Is it just people being completely random all the time?

That's what it used to be. Back last year when I first joined the main population of the group was (I'm probably going to get a lot of negative feedback on this but it is pretty much true) what one could describe "Crazy Fangirls". There was a lot of shipping members together (that sucked being probably one of the four active guys at the time) pretending to be animals and mythical creatures (that wasn't all that bad obviously) having fake weddings, talking about tv shows, spamming the topics etc.. Now only about 4-5 people ever post and the group is close to being completely dead. Mostly because one of the most active and popular members "Avalon" left.

Ah. Well, I can't imagine what they would have done to me. Probably ask about clothes or something. Why are you still here if it was that bad?

Because even though it was absolutely rambunctious, it was something to make fun of and I enjoyed it. Like watching a Michael Bay Transformer movie. You watch it to see how bad it can get.

Who knows. You're the first new member in months. Maybe some of the old members will come back. I know the Mod Connor personally and I might be able to persuade him.
