The other day at school a girl said to me I reminded her of Hermione Granger, for me this is literally the best complement ever! But a friend of mine said, urgh but she's so bossy you don't want to be like her. I was thoroughly offended. Thoughts? Do you think Hermione is a good role model? I do!

Hermione is a hell of a good role model! I've never found her bossy, just confident that she's right-- and she is... ALL THE TIME!
I agree with u when she was older I guess I found her more helping at times but yonger she was always so worried about getting in trouble.
Ask if your friend if she only read the Philosopher's stone. First impressions are often misleading.
Maybe you should ask the girl what she meant. Hermione can be bossy and a bit rule-obsessed, but she's also fiercely loyal, brilliant, kind, and extremely perceptive. So I guess it depends what it was about you that reminded your classmate of her!
Definitely cool she someone who sticks to what she thinks is right no matter what other people think of her.
Hermione can be a bit stuck-up, narrow-minded and judgmental. So maybe it isn't the coolest thing?
But on the other hand, she seems to be a relatively intelligent character?

Of course Hermione is a good role model! Were you planning on making Him-who-must-not-be-named your role model?
I have always felt that Hermione is my literary twin, and I am so proud of that! You should be, too!
Hermione has been my big sis sense I watched Harry Potter for the first time with my grandpa when I was five. And she has served as the perfect role model
