Parker Shelton pretty much has the perfect life. She’s on her way to becoming valedictorian at Hundred Oaks High, she’s made the all-star softball team, and she has plenty of friends. Then her mother’s scandal rocks their small town and suddenly no one will talk to her.

Now Parker wants a new life.

Ch. 1 (view spoiler)[ So I get her thing is to prove that she's not a lesbian. I might have felt different in High School but probably not - if I were her I wouldn't care. I'd be like no I'm not or ignore them. I probably wouldn't want to be on their same team though because they all sound like bigots. Please, don't end up with the coach. He's older than her and I don't like it. It's going to be interesting to see her journey from here to the end and how her feelings will change towards baseball. (hide spoiler)]

I got bored with the whole Brian thing still happening and Drew and Will getting mad at her. I liked the beginning more than anything. It was still really fun to read but I enjoyed Catching Jordan more than this one. (hide spoiler)]

I think if I were to read this series in the future it would be the top most ratest one. I do enjoy them but not as much as I would like but I did really like Chasing Jordan...

Chapter 3: (view spoiler)[ Didn't love the coach as a love interest at first, cause it's ok for her to like him, but if you think about the other side... he is a coach who will probably date a student. So wrong.
I love Drew so far, he is either going to be gay or have the biggest crush on Parker.

Chapter 6: (view spoiler)[ First of all, I love how Miranda's books are so easy to read, you never feel tired of them.

Corndog is so sweet, I really hope Parker will get together with him... but I'm guessing she will be with the coach. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 9: (view spoiler)[ I can't believe Brian is such an asshole!! Trying to pressure her and all that. And I also can't believe she is still going out with him when he ignores her so much outside of his truck. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 12: (view spoiler)[ And... now everything just went very, very bad. I guess I'm ready for that happy ending now, cause this sucks. (hide spoiler)]

The end: Cute book, cute ending. Very predictable, but I still loved it!
I hope to read more by this author soon, her books are just so fast-paced and funny!
