5th Wave Fan Club discussion

I know, it says only stuff about the 5th wave (which is suuppeerr awesome) but I have to admit, its kind of sad how rejected it is.

The movie and the fact that no one else is in this group : ( I haven't seen the movie yet, practically dying for the Last Star!!

In The 5th Wave when Sam is on the bus, the "military personnel" scan each of the kids, giving them either a red or green stamp based on the color that shows up in the scan. Sam is scanned red. We later find out that anyone without a chip scans green which means they are "infested", so how is it that Sam's scan showed up red, and what did green mean on the bus?

Wow, I only just saw that. So... wait. That really doesn't make sense! So yeah, what did it mean on the bus?
