The group was founded not long after the school was built and opened; the Principle felt the need for the student body to have an opinion in how the school is ran. Suggestions come in from all walks of life and are always treated with the upmost sincerity. Council members are forever changing because they can be from any year group and often will leave and quickly get replaced. The council is viewed with a high prestige in terms of student hierarchy however lording their status is not accepted among members and often leads to instant dismissal.
