But I didn't grow up reading Farley Mowatt and Thornton Burgess for nothing!

Sorry, Lauren, half of these books seem to be supernatural so I'd assume the 'animals' on cover are actually shapeshifters (ie. supernatural)?

Some of the paranormal books are about shifters but others aren't. The shapeshifting ones are Wild Wolf, Savage Hunger and Destiny of the Wolf. Do they not count because the animal in the story is supernatural even if the animal on the cover is a real one?
Just want to know for future reference :0)

Sorry if I wasn't clear in the first place, Lauren :)
Yes, I wanted to make this strictly non-supernatural so even if they look like real-life animals on cover but technically (or rather) fictionally they're not, I'd not count them.

Thanks for the clarification, TienBy the way, the following do not involve shapeshifting characters but haven't been added to the accepted books. Thanks.

Skipped Lauren's post (#10) when updating PAS due to needing to check more closely on what Tien approved. I will come back to that one.

PAS updated through post #22.
Tien, I did not include Coralie's (post 13) Moth Smoke and The Mosquito Coast, since moth/mosquito are insects. (I checked post 3 but did not see that you had updated that one since post 7.)
My husband says insects are animals, too. What say you?

Lol - love that you checked with hubz ha ha ha
I'm sure we'd find insects in the forest so yes, include them :)
Sorry, this game takes a lot of administering & I need to make sure I have plenty of time to actually sit down and do them so I'm waayyy behind!

@Lauren (msg #17)
sorry! I've only done the covers so far... however, I wouldn't include Wickedly Dangerous because of "dragon-turned-dog" - let me know if it's actually a dog :)

Having grown up by the bush (what we call the forest in BC, although we don't do that where I live now) I can tell you for certain you'd find insects there :). Lots and lots and lots. Unless, of course, it's winter and then you might have to search for them :)
