I want to recommend great books that will strengthen your faith and satisfy you intellectually. Two would be "Total Truth" by Nancy Pearcey and "How Should We Then Live?" by Francis Schaeffer. Two awesome books that confirm Christianity. They are under the group books, so check them out! Add any Christian books that you have found intellecutally satisfying.

Dovewing | 30 comments The dragons in our Midst/Oracles of Fire series is about a group of teenagers fighting the devil(literaly) with the help of God. It is a book for teens, not only spiritual, but it has adventure and battle and dragons, too. Adults would enjoy it too, I think, but I can only speak for me.

Patricia Kirk | 14 comments I'm giving away ten of my book, One Touch from the Maker, Second Edition, for the purpose of getting it reviewed on Goodreads and Amazon.

Page 49: Linda watched helplessly as the gas line blazed and fire traveled toward her dad as he held the other end. Then it exploded.

Page 15: When Steven overdosed on heroin, the paramedics pronounced him dead after three minutes. Then they found a pulse. As he slowly awoke, one paramedic asked him about his out-of body experience. As Steven listened, he realized his experience didn’t match the one described by the medic. Was the dark tunnel a “waiting room for judgment?”

Page 21: Larry enjoyed the beautiful Colorado day as he practiced his golf swing before work. But during one swing, the wet grass pulled him off his feet, landing him painfully on his back. Then, at the hospital, he and his wife listened in shock as the doctor told them that the ex-Marine faced life as a paraplegic.

These are three examples of the fifty-one stories. You can read more on this group's bookshelf. Please get back with me here if you want to receive a book.

Dovewing | 30 comments I just finish re-reading the book Riven, and it was really good. The beginning is a bit slow, but the ending is amazing.

David Corbin (goodreadscomdavid_corbin) | 12 comments Equipping the Believer by David Corbin A Christian book that cuts through the many religious doctrines by using the Bible to provide insight to the truths contained in the Word of God.

The Simplicity of Living by Faith by David Corbin This book explains what faith is, and is not based on authorial opinion, but rather using scripture to interpret the Word of God. In addition, this book explains through examples how we, as Christians, are to walk by faith and not be dependent on our feelings or circumstances, by realising that faith is simply the hand that takes from the hand of God.
