Those of you who expect to be task creators and/or group reads designates, please have your thinking caps on with a couple of tasks in mind when Kate contacts you.
Thank you!

How it works:
Between June 15th and 26th members will be allowed (encouraged) to sign up in the appropriate thread to be assigned a team.
The moderators will assign members to a team and announce the team make up on June 28th.
Every team will be working with the same BINGO card. The final and official BINGO card will be available for viewing on June 28th. In the meantime, you can see what might be in store here .
A team will earn a BINGO by completing the tasks in the squares to complete a vertical, horizontal or diagonal line on the card.
Each member of the team must contribute at least one book to the completion of a BINGO.
Each book read can only be used once for a task square, but may contribute to any/all applicable style squares.
Completing BINGO will offer bonus points for the Summer RwS Challenge.

Polls should be up in a few days. (We're running ahead of schedule this month. One of us - not me - is going on vacation the end of the August.)

Please keep an eye on your inbox so we can get the new season settled soon.

Another congratulations to all participants!

Some group statistics

A single volume that contains multiple titles will not be used to determine YA. In the case of short story collections, omnibuses, essay collections and other multi-title volumes, the volume will be accepted for applicable tasks and styles

Books with a Lexile score of NP will be accepted for full style points at the discretion of the moderators.
If you think your non-prose YA book should qualify for full style points, please ask your moderators in the current season's challenge general questions thread.

The polls will be open until August 26th.

Some of you are doing personal challenges, like a 20th century challenge. If you would find it helpful, I can generate some custom lists for you. (Need books pub'd 1936-1944?; authors born 1887-1912? Books pub'd in German?)
A limitation is that the author table just has a single name per entry. Searching for surnames beginning with a specific letter may not provide a reasonable result.
We don't track setting or Dewey Decimal number, but I can get a list of pretty much any combination and subset of what data we do have. If this is of interest, speak up in the socializing thread. I'll be glad to open a separate folder for requests and a place to post links to the lists generated.

(It will probably be updated again in a few days ... a small surprise is coming your way.)
