Just finished it, I loved it and rated it 5 stars. Great conclusion, very smooth writing and I especially liked the way the cost of war is depicted. Kind of wondering if there will be a sub series or some sort of continuation in this world involving Inys
Maybe Inys and the drowned. There is more to them. Would be a good continuation.
I just finished this book. While I liked it, I don't really think that this was a definite end to the series. We never really learned what Inys did next. Did Marcus find him? Did Cithryn leave to be closer to Marcus? I'm thinking the series was left open-ended so that the author could do a spin-off on the series, but I haven't seen anything online about it. I guess I'm frustrated if this is the last we see of these characters, but if it's not, I'll likely pick up the next book as soon as it comes out. Overall a good series though. I listened to them in audio, and the narrator was great. He is also narrating the Demon Cycle series, which I just started on a whim without realizing this group was reading it.
